((alright guys... this is my idea of a plot. Feel free to improvise it and such! I'd love to hear your ideas. If we decide on the idea, then I guess we'll right the full plot. The mayor comes very important on this, since she has the power to make the plot happen. Sash is Blue's to control so I might have manipulated her to fit in to the story so Blue can change her part anyway she wants. ^^))

That is a really good idea, Moony! Also, I think it'd be kind of cool if Sash like sometimes shows up out of nowhere when some characters are on a journey.
Example - Two warriors are traveling on a really old path, looking for the next challenge that Sash has set up and suddenly out of nowhere she appears and like gives them a really weird hint of what's next for them. If they figure it out, it'll be easier for them and it proves that they have knowledge and uh... other stuff. And they like go up the chain in the list of heirs. Unless of course they die... or lose.
Also, what if Sash is never seen out and about the town unless it's a speech (or other town matters) or she has to look for ingredients (for things that cannot be mentioned at this time) and every time she comes outside, it's like a really big deal (cause most people wonder why that is and other rumors but if that counts as controlling people then never mind)

Thanks Blue! Hm... that's a good idea. But since we want everyone to join in the plot and not just the two warriors... what if Sash gives a hint in one of her speeches? Like a special speech that tells that she's looking for the next owner of Aerie. I guess in her own way. Maybe not something like a tricky poem, since that's used a lot and it's becoming a cliche in lots of RPs. Something like a message.
Sash never appearing? I think that's okay. It's pretty cool to have a traveler for an owner. I think the rumors are a good idea, it's not controlling people either. Maybe we could have a rumor board or a rumor notice board on the sidebars and note on Sash's travelings and when she comes back. But you know, she'll has to take part in council meetings and like approve grants, and those president work.

Okay! This is another part of the plot, but more beyond that. :3 How would Sash “test” the possible heirs? And incorporate the puzzles and the monster battles for the plot?
Originally, my idea was Sash giving a speech… but it isn’t an ordinary speech of politics. The speech—it’s about the heir, but she gives a “mysterious poem” and if you crack the poem, it says you must find some kind of jewel on one of those challenging lands in Aerie (like the mansion, the mountain, etc) … but that would be kind of generic and not very original.
I like your idea about how Sash really never appears (or maybe she could appear in the town in a disguise… maybe sometimes as a normal civilian or a beggar, something very unexpected and she watches the people as one of them)…
Then one day, she commands everyone person in Aerie to meet… everyone’s surprised, because they’re just so used to see Sash dressed formal at their local news channel, not in real life.
She gives a speech of the heir… formally, everyone expects the next ruler to be voted or someone in the council already. But she’s open to anyone of any age, any species or “nationality”, or any gender. Which becomes another surprise.
Sash gives everyone a crystal—a crystal black as the night. The person who keeps the crystal as clear as water will become the next heir.
She is looking for someone who fits all the aspects of the council groups; someone who is smart, kind/loving, fair/truthful, and who is talented (whether it’s by strength, ideas—anyone who is good at what they love doing).
If the person proves they are intelligent, then the crystal turns blue—and same for kind & loving (red), being fair & truthful (green), and having talent (yellow). And if they proved for all four, the crystal turns white… but not clear. To avoid people making “perfect” characters matching every section perfectly, for the crystal to become clear, the person have to acknowledge their weaknesses and realize that they’re human (or although they have superpowers… no one is perfect).
And to prove how they are like that, well… ‘prove’ is a broad word. I guess if you solve a puzzle it counts for proving that you’re smart, but it’s not much if you solved a mystery. These could be by point values, 1~2 for the puzzle, and 5 for the mystery. And if they have more than like 5 or 8 points, then the crystal can turn blue. And if they happen to meet Sash--that's a good chance to gain a color.
(;; this is so long.... xD haha sorry, I'm kind of excited)

I wrote a short plot intro thing. FAIL
I don’t know about you, but have you ever wanted to take over the world? You can start here, in this island. Because we’re having an “island giveaway” or a “blood thirsty conquest” or whatever you like. The leader of this island is in need of a heir to the island.
But elections and speeches just didn’t cut it. We are looking for a “perfect job interview”. Where, you can show us through games of wits, battle monsters, and tell us a joke. And through this recession, competitions are strong; apocryphals (gifted superhumans), escaped lab experiments, magicians, and Spartans. Hope you get the job.
SNAP. My literacy level is as an opossum's.

Really? ^^ hmm maybe
I wrote this for the "overall" thing
APOCRYPHALS(x) = (GIFTED/SUPERHUMAN + ISLAND) x (FABLES) / (PUZZLES) - (WINDOWS)
Aerie’s an interesting island, all 237.18 mi², and a full country. Long time ago, it was a highly civilized country, until it physically broke off from the range of its mother empire. We never knew why or how—but actually, the island never moved an inch. The time-space between the island and the country was distorted. One day, the people of Aerie woke up, and found they were isolated of everyone’s memories.
But, now it is found again. Being mysterious enough, Aerie tends to attract Apocryphals who became liars, secrets that became stories, and mysteries that became fairytales, trapped in the island. No lie can live on without being exposed someday.

alright alright guys (I'm in math class )
So I though of some plot ideas~ please comment! I think the heir idea isn't that.. good? Not interesting enough?
ehh I thought of this idea like 2 years ago, actually for a warriors site... but I think it fits better on Apo.
Dreams--in the day, the city is quite and calm, good for tourists, good for anybody. Normal. But at night, when people fall asleep--they may stumble into a dream world? A world where anything is possible! It's a chance for apocryphals to become true to themselves in dreams. Because in dreams, there are no rules!
Um, so the dreamworld is only accesible in sleep. The actual dreamworld looks like Aerie, but it's all made of illusions. But the Guardians, since they're magical, have the sovereignty over the dream world (and council of Aerie too).
But the dreamworld is getting stronger? More people have 'discovered' it. Or maybe there is a dream-inducing apocryphal who invites normal people in to the world. The dreams are so strong that when they fall asleep, it seems too real, so they may sleepwalk... or people become half stuck in dreams. ===================
mini plot idea- It could be like a big welcoming event for the site. It's a ball/party at the refurbished part of the mansion (other rooms of the mansino is locked). But there's a trick. Overnight, hedges have sprung around the mansion... and the party starts at 6pm and ends at midnight. Everybody is invited, but they have to get throught the hedge first. How?
a. If you have powers--blast through the hedge b. solve puzzles/riddles
and at the mansion, it could be a costume party that'd be fun or a partnered one
